Le Bon Wellness Inc. operates bonwellness.com and sells BonWellness products, including BonPatch and BonMelt, in the United States. This policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit the site, buy from us, or communicate with us. Our store is powered by Shopify. Where this policy and our terms of service conflict, this policy controls on anything involving your personal information.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, billing and shipping address, phone number and email address. We collect payment and transaction details, though card numbers are handled by our payment providers rather than stored by us. We collect account information such as your username, password, preferences and subscription details, and transaction information covering what you view, add to your cart, buy, return, exchange or cancel.

We also collect the content of your communications with us, device information such as your browser, IP address and unique identifiers, and usage information about how you move through the site.

This comes directly from you, automatically through the site including through cookies and similar technologies, from our service providers, and from partners and other third parties.

How we use it

We use your information to run the Services: processing payments, fulfilling and shipping orders, managing your account and subscriptions, handling returns, remembering your preferences, enabling reviews and personalising what you see.

We use it for marketing and advertising where you have opted in, including email, text message and online advertising. We use it for security and fraud prevention, to authenticate your account and to investigate unsafe or illegal activity. We use it to provide customer support. And we use it to comply with the law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our terms and policies.

Consumer health data

Some of our products relate to sleep, energy, focus, hormonal changes and general wellbeing. We do not ask you for health information and we do not need it to sell to you. What you buy or browse could still suggest an interest in a health-related topic, and some state laws treat that kind of inference as consumer health data.

Where that applies, we use the information only to fulfil your order, provide support, manage your subscription and run the site. We do not sell it. We do not use it to target advertising to you based on a health condition. You can ask us to delete it using the contact details below, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Who we share it with

We share information with Shopify and with vendors who work on our behalf, covering IT, payment processing, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfilment, shipping and subscription management.

We share it with business and marketing partners for advertising. We use Shopify's personalised advertising features, which can involve sharing information about your activity across merchants and websites. Depending on where you live you may have the right to opt out of this, as set out below.

We share it when you ask us to, such as to ship your order or through a social login, and within our corporate group. We may also share it in connection with a merger, acquisition or bankruptcy, to comply with legal obligations including subpoenas and warrants, to enforce our terms, and to protect our rights and those of others.

Shopify

The site is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes information about your use of it in order to provide and improve the Services. What you submit may be shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located outside your state or country. We also use Shopify features that draw on data from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify itself. For those features Shopify is responsible for processing your information and for responding to requests about it. Third-party sites

The site may link to services operated by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy or security practices, so review their policies before giving them information.

Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their state. A parent or guardian can contact us to ask for deletion. As at the effective date above, we have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Security and retention

No security measure is perfect and information you send us may not be secure in transit, so please do not use unsecure channels for sensitive information. How long we keep your information depends on whether we still need it to maintain your account, provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you and access it, to have it deleted, to have inaccurate information corrected, to receive a copy or have it transferred, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising, and to limit how we use sensitive personal information. You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of California have the rights above under the CCPA and CPRA. We disclose the categories of information described above for the purposes described above. We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of Shopify's personalised advertising features may amount to sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. To opt out, email [email protected] with "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" as your subject line. We also honour Global Privacy Control signals where we are required to.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message, and from SMS by replying STOP. You may still receive non-promotional messages about your account, orders and subscriptions.

Complaints

Contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or to complain to your state attorney general or data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised version here, update the effective date, and give notice where the law requires it.
